Visitors are fascinated by seeing the restoration and rebuilding projects underway.
They can observe in Tram 26, a heritage vehicle awaiting restoration and understand the amount of work involved, whilst in Tram1, internal construction details are exposed which helps to explain how the vehicle had been constructed back in 1911.
A key element of the guided tour is a hands-on explanation of the restoration processes involved, the timber and other materials being used, and the challenges being faced by the project team.
